Back to School………………………..!!!!
It’s me in शाळा (The School) look during
school days (5th std.)
Today after watching Marathi movie “शाळा”
(The school), I went way back in thoughts of school days. Those days were
matching somewhat and somewhere with my school days also. I started
contemplating on those nostalgic moments.
After long period of time I went to
revisit my School. There, I found EMPTINESS in Crowded place. I reached closer
to our classroom but I was not able to dare to enter inside. So, I just peeped
from window. I saw so many students; one of them occupied the bench where I
used to sit. Moreover, there were his friends not mine, sitting on nearby
benches. This situation made me feel empty in crowded class.
There I came to know, most of our teachers
are retired now, and very few are still there. I talked with some of them. They
asked me, “What you are doing nowadays?”
I replied something hi-fi but none of them understood about it. They
further asked me, “What will be your future? What you will do? How much you
will earn?” and so on……….!!! Disturbed with bombardment of these questions, I
again replied something understandable hi-fi and respectable amount of salary
as my earning. And finally they started feeling proud about their student.But,
I was feeling unconscious, that EMPTINESS was killing me. So, I decided to
leave and said bye-bye to them.
Then my mind became CROWDED with the
nostalgic moments of school days and there was no more emptiness. I started giggling
and singing the song “I wanna grow up
once again……..……!!!”
So, thank you friends for making my school
days special.
